One Magazine’s Business Plan

(FALL 2021) - For this assignment, I was asked to create a business plan for an online magazine. The magazine had to be an original idea that fits into a niche market. My partner and I decided to create a business plan for an online magazine centered around Type 1 Diabetes. We wrote a vision statement, a mission for the magazine, a proof of need, an editorial plan with names for the magazine’s verticals, perform audience and competition analysis and research, create reader personas, evaluate what made our magazine different from our potential competitors, write a digital and social media strategy, decide how our magazine would bring in revenue, and design a homepage for the magazine.
